We in St. Oliver Plunkett Primary School recently celebrated our 50th Anniversary. The striking thing was that the vast number of parishioners, including past pupils who came through the door talked about their memories and their pride in their parish school, those threads of conversation make up the rich tapestry that is our school today.

We take great pride in our school, what it stands for, its place within our parish and wider community. The school is recognised locally, nationally and indeed globally for the standards of education that we provide, more importantly we are seen as a warm, welcoming, supportive school, not only for our children but also for our parents, grandparents and guardians.

We are proud also of the relationship that we have with our parish team; whilst we are blessed in that our school literally sits alongside our church, we are delighted that our children play an active role in the liturgy and also that Fr. Aidan is a proactive member of our staff team.

If you want to find out a little bit more about our school please feel free to visit our school website at equally in this world of social media you can get a flavour of us on our Facebook and Twitter pages, both accessible on the website.
