Sr Elizabeth, Regional Co-ordinator for the Sacred Heart Messenger, paid us a visit this week and presented us with a beautiful book by Pope Francis, “Sharing the Wisdom of Time”
It was lovely to meet her and we took her to meet May Mackel who has been delivering and selling the Messenger for approximately 30 years. May was presented with a copy of the book and we had a brief chat before Sr Elizabeth left. But, Sr. will be back in October to chat at weekend Masses. She is hopeful we can engage with parishioners and increase interest in the publication.
