The Catholic Church in Ireland has called for a day of Prayer and Reflection on

Sunday 24th August 2025

for every Parish to take part in this sacred initiative, it is not just a symbolic gesture , it is a spiritual act of Solidarity .

The hope is that August 24^th will be a day of deep prayer. Offer your Sunday Mass for peace in Gaza.

Spend time in Adoration , lifting up those who suffer. Pray the Rosary as a family or community.
Light a candle in your home or parish as a sign of hope.
Reach out to your elected representatives , urging them to support humanitarian aid
and peace efforts. Support trusted Charities working on the ground.
