Pathways to the Future Meetings

In a Letter from me on Sunday 5th November, in my capacity as Apostolic Administrator and in
support of Pathways to the Future initiated by Bishop Treanor, I will invite people across the
diocese to make their voice of hope heard about the future mission of the Church in Down
and Connor. When appointed, the new Bishop of the diocese will benefit greatly from hearing
the voices and responses to the suggestions that have thus far emerged from the Pathways
to the Future programme of discernment.

In mid-November the Pathways to the Future team will host a number of meetings across the
diocese to give people the opportunity to learn more about what is suggested and how
changes may affect parish life. A meeting for parish staff has also been arranged for
Wednesday 29th November from 11.00am to 1.00pm in Holy Rosary Parish Hall, 503 Ormeau Road, Belfast BT7 3GR.

• What the proposed changes will mean for parishes and for the Diocese.

• Your hopes, dreams, and aspirations for the Church in Down and Connor.

• How we work together to make those dreams a reality.

Thank you for your ongoing participation and your contribution to this important moment of
change and renewal within our Diocese and our Church. Yours sincerely in Christ, the Good Shepherd.
